Performance designer
A bit about me
I am an artist and performance designer with diverse experience of designing set, costumes and puppets for theater, dance and opera as well as co-creative community art projects and public art installations. I am based in rural Norduppland, Sweden.
I am always interested in new collaborations, contexts and places - do get in touch with me if you like to start a conversation.

A bit more about me
Rooted in visual performing arts, spatial design and collaborative storytelling, I want to create theatre and performance that touches, amuses, worries the audience. Making experiences and stories reflecting our times, create new thoughts, energy, confusion, laughter and engagement.
I want to make art together with curious people with a sense of humor, who take theater, art and storytelling most seriously. I like to take advantage of the inherent possibilities of room and place, regardless of whether the project is site-specific or in a theatre building.
I am passionate about exploring sustainable materials and working methods within the performing arts.
I have a penchant for scenography with functions, making a playground for actors. I want to create spaces that the actors long to play in and which the audience feels something about - curiosity, trepidation, confusion or laughter - even before the house lights go down.
I would like to further explore experimental formats, immersiveness and audience participation.
I find the genre challenging - so often the story suffers. I’m curious how one might throw an audience off balance, without creating too much discomfort. To move, both physically and emotionally.
Besides design work, I occasionally teach design and making, and also run the small art residency Hållnäs Konstkoloni.
